Our studio is now closed.

The JNL Graphic Design (begun in 1992; closed 2023) specialized in the creation of graphic objects of unique cultural significance. Catalogues, site-specific artworks, dimensional signage, advertising, brand identities and related collateral were part and parcel of our daily work flow.

We sought to do highly visible projects that sculpt the visual and cultural landscape we inhabit. Design was the way we lived; the way we thought; that which informed us; persuaded us; motivated us; cajoles, carouses and inspired us.

We were located in Chicago.

In memory of Jason Pickleman

April 6, 1965 – May 12, 2024

Jason Pickleman, the prolific graphic designer, artist, gallerist, poet, collector, musician, educator, writer, lecturer, and dance-floor mainstay on Chicago’s social circuit passed away peacefully after a 16-month battle with brain cancer.
